Hot Sauce Blog

I purchased these two sauces while visiting Portland, ME. What drew me to the bottles what their distinctive design and the retro cool labels. I later found out that the their labels won a few awards at this years Zest Fest.

The Forte is hot, but not crazy. It does have a nice pepper flavor and its not very salty. I used almost a whole bottle on a plate of nachos. This stuff is good.

The Diavolo was very hot and did get extreme after continued use at one sitting. The fire picked up bite after bite. I could not use a whole bottle at one sitting because there's too much heat. This sauce tastes like it has a ton of chipotle in it, which made it just plane awesome.

I am now a fan and will be for a long time to come.

Whats great about Bella Peppers products is that the empty bottles are keepers. I am totally into glass sculpture and these bottles are elegant and worth cleaning up to reuse.

Bella Pepper did a great job.

Bravo!

Oh cool. I have been wanting to try this but haven't seen it for sale anywhere. Other than on line i mean. But I won't pay $8.00 or whatever to ship a little hot sauce. No way. But that's just me.

I agree. From the pictures I saw the labels are beautiful. I do some graphic design work and really appreciate the asthetically pleasing colors and layout.

Enjoy. Hopefully one day I'll find some of this sauce!
