How many times is the devout chili-head rendered to scaling back the heat to meet the needs of friends and family? Wherever you read about chili head experiences this seems to come up quite often. "I can handle the heat but my wife\husband\kids\other can't."
Well the Peppermaster has come up with an incredible solution. If you have ever tried the concoctions that Greg and Tina Brooks have created you know that they really are masters at their craft. They can bottle a flavour that can set a theme for the course of a meal. Not just hot sauce to add on but sauces that have a structure to form around a culinary motif.
This time around they have upped the level to the versatility of their sauces. They have created a "baby' line of sauces. They carry the full exact flavour of their name sake but without the heat. We are talking about people that find black pepper spicy can handle these but still enjoy the full wallop of flavour intended. So it is good for a group and easy enough to be tweaked by the chilihead to get the desired heat level.
I just gave the Baby Curry a try other day. Marinated some chicken breasts overnight, cooked up some basmati rice and baked some frozen samosas. The chicken grilled up beautifully with an intense curry flavour that stayed with the meat and I took it up a notch by adding some hotter sauce into the mix of my own food to get the fire I wanted.
Next up is going to be the Baby Jerk. I already gave this a quick sample and it is remarkable how the flavour is true to its origin but the heat removed.
So for those who want to share kitchen adventures with friends and family no longer have to worry about their peers sloughing off a layer of tongue.
